The APSystems ECU-C gateway improves the efficiency of your self-consumption solar system. It monitors energy production and consumption, limits grid injection, and offers high-performance monitoring tools. Accessible in real-time via WiFi and user-friendly platforms, the ECU-C ensures optimal management of your installation. It is compatible with all APS microinverters and supports up to 400 photovoltaic modules.
ECU-C Gateway Description and Contents
In cooperation with the microinverters installed under the solar panels, it offers real-time monitoring of production and consumption, thus allowing efficient adaptation of solar production to consumption habits.
Included: ECU-C gateway, 2 WiFi antennas, 1 RJ45 cable, 1 power adapter. ⚠️Current transformers are not included
Main Functions
Real-time monitoring of production and consumption to adapt consumption habits
Possibility of shedding surplus to appliances or the hot water tank
Precise control to avoid excess energy injection into the grid.
Installation and Configuration
The installation of the ECU-C is simple and intuitive, attaching to the main electrical panel. It comes with an Ethernet cable and WiFi antennas to ensure reliable connectivity with the microinverters. Note that shedding is only available for single-phase installations.
Monitoring Platforms
The ECU-C offers several monitoring platforms, including the APSystems ECU APP smartphone application for Android and IOS. Additionally, the Array App facilitates the preparation of the installation plan and registration via mobile devices. The EMA Monitoring Platform allows advanced real-time monitoring of solar installations.
0 grid injection control: Precise output power management
Surplus shedding function to the hot water tank, among others...
Measurement Accuracy: Production (+/- 0.5% via TI), Consumption (+/- 2.5% via TI)
Grid Types: Single-phase/Three-phase.
⚠️The current transformers (ampere clamps) required for consumption monitoring are not included. Plan to add 2 units for a single-phase installation and 6 for a three-phase installation⚠️
