All-in-1 solar solution

The Victron Energy EasySolar-II GX is an all-in-one solar solution that combines a converter/charger, a solar charge controller, and a GX device in a single unit. It is designed for easy installation and use, and it offers a complete solution for residential and commercial solar systems.

Easy and remote monitoring

The EasySolar-II GX offers easy and remote monitoring of the solar system's status. An integrated LCD screen displays essential parameters, such as solar energy production, battery charge status, and power consumption. These same parameters are also accessible from a smartphone or any other device with a Wi-Fi connection.

Efficient power distribution

The EasySolar-II GX is designed for efficient power distribution. It has 2 AC outputs, one main uninterrupted and a second auxiliary output controlled by the battery. This configuration allows for efficient management of electrical energy distribution according to user needs, ensuring a reliable power supply in all circumstances.

Grid topologies:

  • On-grid

The EasySolar-II GX uses excess PV power to charge batteries or feed energy back into the grid. It also uses battery or grid power when photovoltaic energy is insufficient. In the event of a power outage, the EasySolar-II GX disconnects from the grid while maintaining power to the loads. Loads that need to be deactivated when AC power is unavailable can be connected to a second output. These loads are managed by the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions to limit the AC input current to a safe level.

  • Parallel to the grid

The EasySolar-II GX uses data from the external AC current sensor (to be ordered separately) to optimize self-consumption and, if necessary, prevent energy feed-in to the grid. Even in the event of a power outage, the EasySolar-II GX continues to power critical loads.

Power during a power outage

The EasySolar-II GX can power critical loads during a power outage. In the event of a power outage, the EasySolar-II GX disconnects from the grid and continues to power the loads from the battery.

This feature offers several advantages, including power continuity, safety, and comfort.

Three-phase configuration for more power

The EasySolar-II GX offers remarkable flexibility in power configuration. It can be connected to other devices and configured for a three-phase output. This capability allows for an inverter power of 45 kW / 54 kVA, with a load capacity exceeding 600 A, making it a suitable solution for large-scale installations.

Self-consumption optimization

The EasySolar-II GX is designed to maximize solar energy self-consumption. It uses excess energy generated by solar panels to charge batteries, ensuring that the solar energy produced is used optimally. This feature reduces reliance on the conventional electrical grid and optimizes the use of solar energy.

Adaptive battery charging to extend lifespan

To extend battery life, the EasySolar-II GX is equipped with a 4-stage adaptive charging algorithm. This algorithm optimizes the charging process based on the type of battery used, providing precise and adapted charging. Additionally, it continuously monitors the battery's condition, adjusting the absorption time to prevent overcharging and excessive gassing.

Compatibility with lithium-ion batteries

To meet the needs of modern users, the EasySolar-II GX is compatible with Victron LiFePO4 batteries. This compatibility ensures optimal performance and efficient energy management for energy storage systems.

Feeding electricity into the grid

When the EasySolar-II GX is used in a grid feed-in configuration, it is essential to ensure grid code compliance by selecting the appropriate setting. This allows users to benefit from grid connection while contributing to clean energy production.
