The Sungrow Smart Energy Meter 3 phases is a next-generation intelligent instrument that combines measurement and communication functions. It is an electronic energy meter designed to meet the energy monitoring and energy metering needs of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems. It is compatible with Sofar ME-3PH and HYD-3PH three-phase inverters.
It is mainly used to measure and display the electrical parameters of the electrical circuit, including voltage, current, active power, reactive power, frequency, positive and negative energy, four-quadrant energy, etc.
Thanks to its modular design and standard 35mm DIN rail mounting, this instrument is easy to install and network. It occupies a width equivalent to 4 standardized modules.
The RS485 communication interface allows for easy data exchange with the outside. An RS485 cable with a length of 10m is supplied with the meter. It is crimped with an RJ45 plug at one end and two terminals at the other.
The specialized integrated measurement circuit (ASIC) integrates conversion that supports the measurement of active power, reactive power, apparent power, active energy, reactive energy, and apparent energy for each phase and the combined phase, as well as the measurement of current, voltage, power factor, phase angle, frequency, and other parameters.
Measurements are displayed on a 7-digit LCD screen, with a display range from 0.00 kWh to 9999999 MWh.
The three-phase Smart Meter is mainly used to measure and display the parameters of the photovoltaic system in the electrical circuit, including voltage, current, power, frequency, power factor, active energy, etc. It can be networked using the RS485 communication interface and an external device.
The Sungrow Smart Energy Meter 3 phases is accurate (Class 1 measurement accuracy), practical, energy-efficient (total energy consumption less than 1 W), safe, and reliable (fuse-less design for superior safety, international certification for greater reliability, natural cooling).
For optimal operation, the meter requires 3 current transformers (sold separately). The meter is easily installed on a 35mm DIN rail in your electrical panel, with the measurement clamps attaching to each phase without requiring disassembly.
