Diode splitters allow multiple batteries to be charged simultaneously from a single alternator, without connecting these batteries to each other. During discharge too, the batteries remain isolated, the use of the service battery, for example, will not discharge the starter battery.

FET splitters function similarly to diode splitters. They allow multiple batteries to be charged from a single power source, such as an alternator or a single-output battery charger.

The advantage is that the batteries do not need to be connected to each other, so if one of the batteries is discharged, it will not affect the others.

For example, discharging the auxiliary battery will not cause the starter battery to discharge.

By using ARGO FET splitters, it is not necessary to also increase the alternator's output voltage. It is still advisable to use short cables with a sufficiently effective cross-section.
