Originally designed for boat owners, this 5-stage adaptive charger has 2 independent outputs: 1 main 16A + 1 auxiliary 3A which can deliver a combined total of 16A.
Bluetooth Connectivity
Bluetooth connectivity allows you to monitor the charger, change its settings, and update it directly from your smartphone or tablet.
2 outputs to charge 2 battery banks
The main output can deliver the nominal current, the second auxiliary output, intended for maintaining a "starter battery", is limited to 3A. The 2 outputs can deliver a combined total of 16A.
Automatic Voltage Compensation
The Phoenix Smart charger can compensate for voltage drops in the DC wiring by slightly increasing the output voltage.
Adaptive Charging Algorithm
The Phoenix Smart charger features a 5-stage adaptive charging algorithm. This adaptive battery management system can be configured for different battery types and automatically optimizes the charging process based on battery usage.
Variable Absorption Time
The absorption time is variable to ensure the battery is fully recharged regardless of capacity or discharge level, and to avoid excessively long periods at high absorption voltage which accelerate aging.
BatterySafe Mode
BatterySafe mode prevents deterioration due to excessive gassing by automatically limiting the voltage increase once the gassing voltage has been reached.
Storage Mode
Storage mode reduces battery maintenance and aging when not in use. It activates when the battery has not been used for 24 hours and reduces the Float voltage to minimize aging.
Lithium-ion Battery Compatibility
The Phoenix Smart charger can also charge LiFePO4 batteries using a 3-stage adaptive charge.
Fully Programmable Charge Algorithm
The Phoenix Smart charger's charge algorithm can be programmed using Bluetooth or the VE.Direct interface. 3 pre-programmed algorithms can be selected with a simple button.
VE.Direct Interface
The VE.Direct interface allows for a wired data connection to a Color Control panel or a PC.
