Description

Uninterruptible AC power (UPS function)
In case of mains failure, or of disconnection of the shore or generator, the inverter of the Multi takes over and feeds the connected loads. This transfer is so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers or other electronic equipment will not be disturbed.

Proven reliability 
The full bridge topology with a toroidal transformer has been proven for years. The inverter is protected against short circuits and overheating, whether from overload or high ambient temperature.

High starting power 
Needed to start loads with high inrush currents such as power converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or electric tools.

PowerControl – To limit shore or generator power (800 VA/1200 VA) 
The Multi Control panel allows you to limit the power to be supplied by the shore or generator. The MultiPlus then takes into account the power demand of other AC loads and will only use the surplus for charging, thus avoiding overloading the shore or generator supply.

PowerAssist – More shore or generator power (800 VA/1200 VA) 
In case of peak power demand – often required for a short duration – the MultiPlus will ensure that insufficient generator or shore power is compensated by auxiliary power from the battery. And when the demand decreases, the surplus power will be used to recharge the batteries.

Search Mode 
If Search Mode is set to 'on', the inverter's power consumption is reduced by about 70% if no load is available. With this mode, when the Multi operates in inverter mode, it is switched off in the absence of load or very low load, and switched on again every two seconds for a short period. If the load current exceeds the set level, the inverter continues to operate. Otherwise, the inverter switches off again.

Programmable relay 
By default, the programmable relay is configured as an alarm relay, i.e. the relay is de-energized in case of alarm or pre-alarm (inverter almost too hot, input ripple almost too high, battery voltage almost too low).
