Converter

Converters allow you to power household equipment — requiring a 230 V/120 V AC power source — using "leisure" or "automotive" batteries with a voltage of 12 V, 24 V, or 48 V DC.

VE.Direct communication port

The VE.Direct port can be connected to:

• A computer (VE.Direct-USB interface cable required).
• Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, MacBooks, and other devices
  (a Bluetooth Smart electronic key communicating with VE.Direct is required).

Fully configurable :

• Reset and alarm trigger levels in case of low battery voltage
• Restart and cut-off levels in case of low battery voltage
• Dynamic cut-off: cut-off level based on load
• Output voltage 210 - 245 V
• Output frequency 50 Hz or 60 Hz
• Detection level of ECO mode and ECO mode ON/OFF

Monitoring :

• Input and output voltage, % charge, and alarms

Proven reliability

The full-bridge topology with a toroidal transformer has demonstrated its reliability over the years. The converters are protected against short circuits and overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature.

High starting power

Necessary to start loads such as power converters for LED, halogen bulbs, or power tools.

ECO Mode

In ECO mode, the converter will pause if the load drops below a predetermined value (minimum load: 15 W). Once paused, the converter will turn on for a short period (adjustable; default: every 2.5 seconds). If the load exceeds a preconfigured level, the converter will stay on.

Remote on/off.

A remote ON/OFF switch can be connected to a two-pole connector or between the positive pole of the battery and the left contact of the two-pole connector.

To transfer load to another AC source: automatic transfer switch

For our low-power converters, we recommend using our Filax automatic transfer switch. The Filax offers a very fast transfer time (less than 20 milliseconds) so that computers and other electronic equipment can continue to operate without interruption.
