Like all Huawei solar products, the new LUNA2000 battery looks great. Aesthetically, it follows the line of its flagship product, the Huawei SUN2000L string inverters.

It works like its competing counterparts but with an unlimited depth of discharge (100%), extremely simple expansion (up to 30kW), great manufacturer compatibility, and automatic commissioning.

The compact and modular design combined with the latest technologies make it an intelligent lithium battery with the latest features for self-consumption installations with storage.

Compatible Models and Inverters

Huawei's new LUNA2000 battery has several 5 kWh capacity modules. Up to 3 modules can be stacked to achieve a capacity of 15 kWh. It is also possible to connect 2 systems in parallel to reach 30 kWh.

Thanks to the 2x POWER Battery Ready technology of the new Huawei SUN2000-L1 single-phase hybrid inverters, if we consider a 5 kW inverter and a 5 kWh battery, we could connect 10kW of photovoltaic panels to charge the 5kW batteries and the other 5kW for domestic loads.

Finally, the system is compatible with all Huawei single-phase and three-phase residential inverters.
