Pseudo Sine Wave voltage converters transform direct current (DC) from the battery bank into usable alternating current (AC) 230V for domestic installations. They are called Pseudo Sine Wave because they provide a less pure and less regular wave, composed of a series of "staircase" steps.
Due to their less stable signal, Pseudo Sine Wave converters are suitable for powering small devices that do not require high starting power, such as various device chargers, GPS units, and lighting.
