By using ARGO FET splitters, it is not necessary to also increase the alternator's output voltage. It is still advisable to use short cables with a sufficiently effective cross-section.

FET splitters are like electricity separators that allow multiple batteries to be charged with a single charger, without having to connect them together. Thus, if you use one battery for something, it will not affect the other charged batteries.

FET splitters function similarly to diode splitters. They allow multiple batteries to be charged from a single power source, such as an alternator or a single-output battery charger.
The advantage is that the batteries do not need to be connected to each other, so if one of the batteries is discharged, it will not affect the others.
For example, discharging the auxiliary battery will not cause the starter battery to discharge.
