1. To start, choose a suitable location indoors or outdoors: a garage, a technical room, or even under your panels.
2. If you already have a Plug & Play solar kit, connect the 230V plug of your micro-inverter directly to the battery's bidirectional AC outlet.
3. Then, connect your solar panels to the 2 MPPT inputs of the Solarbank, if you wish to benefit from direct charging. You can add up to 2400W of solar power distributed across these 2 inputs.
4. Next, plug the battery's power cord into a standard household outlet. This step is sufficient to integrate the Solarbank into your existing installation, without modifications or electrical work.
5. To go further, install the Anker SmartMeter (optional) in your electrical panel: a measurement clamp on the phase and two wires to connect, nothing more.
6. Finally, configure your installation via the Anker SOLIX mobile app (iOS and Android) and choose your preferences: off-peak/peak hours, battery or home priority, grid charging…
7. Once configured, the Solarbank 2 E1600 AC manages itself: it powers your home with available solar energy, stores surpluses for the evening, or recharges at night to save during the day.
8. In case of a power outage, the backup mode activates in less than 20ms. The battery will then deliver up to 1000W (1200W with an additional BP1600 battery) via its dedicated AC outlet, to power your essential equipment.
