FET splitters allow multiple batteries to be charged from a single alternator or battery charger without connecting them together.
Thus, discharging one battery will not affect the other batteries. Unlike diode splitters, FET splitters have low voltage loss, generally less than 0.02 Volts for low currents and on average 0.1 Volt for higher currents

FET splitters function similarly to diode splitters. They allow multiple batteries to be charged from a single power source, such as an alternator or a single-output battery charger.
The advantage is that the batteries do not need to be connected to each other, so if one of the batteries is discharged, it will not affect the others.
For example, discharging the auxiliary battery will not cause the starter battery to discharge.
