Operating modes
The SUN2000-6KTL-M1 has 3 operating modes:
- Standby: The inverter switches to Standby mode when the external environment no longer meets operating requirements. In Standby mode, it performs continuous status checks and returns to Operating mode when conditions are restored. This Standby mode ensures adaptive management of the solar inverter based on environmental variations.
- Operation: In Operating mode, the SUN2000 converts energy from solar panels into electricity for the grid, optimizing production. In case of a problem, it shuts down automatically. If the power output from the panels is not suitable, it switches to Standby mode.
- Shutdown: In Standby or Operating mode, the SUN2000 shuts down in case of an anomaly or a shutdown command. In Shutdown mode, it returns to Standby after a startup command or resolution of the anomaly.
Intelligent monitoring
- 2-string supervision: the inverter features intelligent 2-string supervision, ensuring rapid response in case of malfunction.
- Advanced connectivity: RS485 and USB ports allow for advanced connectivity and data management, facilitating remote monitoring.
Enhanced security
- SPD Type II protection: for increased safety, the inverter integrates Type II SPD surge protection on both the DC (direct current) and AC (alternating current) sides.
- DC disconnect device: maintenance is simplified thanks to a safe and convenient DC disconnect device.
- Other protection devices are also integrated: anti-islanding, AC overcurrent, AC short circuit, AC overvoltage, overheating, DC reverse polarity, insulation monitoring, and residual current monitoring.
