An intelligent and modular battery system

The BTS E5-DS5 is an intelligent and modular battery system that offers you unparalleled flexibility and ease of use. With a storage capacity of 5 kWh expandable up to 40 kWh, this system is capable of meeting your energy needs, whatever their scale. The base and the BMS are included in the package.

Fully modular design

The fully modular design of the BTS E5-DS5 allows for easy installation and transport. Current balancing between battery modules ensures higher available battery capacity, while the zero-start capability allows you to start the battery without a grid connection.

Storage capacity expansion

Storage capacity expansion can be done in stages, at any time, thanks to the Battery Distribution Unit (BDU) which can manage up to 4 battery modules (BTS). Up to 2 BDUs can be connected in parallel, each with an independent power connection to the inverter, giving you an energy storage capacity of 40 kWh.

Beyond 3 batteries, it will be necessary to form several stacks, each with its own base. The extension kits including base + cables must be purchased separately. A BMS + base kit is also available separately

Smart operation

The BTS E5-DS5 also features a user-friendly one-touch start/stop function and low self-consumption of battery energy. This intelligent battery system is compatible with SOFARSOLAR's HYD 5K-20KTL and ME 5K-20KTL inverter series and allows for parallel operation of two systems.
