In case of an electrical grid outage, this inverter is equipped to quickly (less than 10ms) provide up to 5kW of backup power (EPS) thanks to its integrated EPS port. This ensures uninterrupted power for sensitive loads such as computer equipment, air conditioners, or refrigerators…

The inverter comes with a 2.4GHz WiFi key that greatly simplifies its connection to the SofarSolar monitoring portal. You can access the installation's performance and production data remotely via the Solarman or Solarman+ application.

Flexible operating modes

This inverter offers exceptional versatility thanks to its different operating modes:

• Backup Mode: In this mode, the inverter protects your equipment against grid interruptions by providing constant power in less than 10 ms thanks to the EPS function
• Hybrid Mode: This means the inverter can use grid power when the battery is depleted and solar power is insufficient to meet demand.
• ⚠️Off-grid mode does not mean it is designed for off-grid operation but that it is capable of providing backup power to critical loads in case of grid failure, using photovoltaic panels and the battery⚠️

The HYD 5000-EP inverter is equipped with an advanced MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) algorithm that monitors solar energy production in real-time. It constantly adjusts its parameters to extract the maximum possible energy from the solar panels.
