We believe that for the maintenance and operation of your off-grid energy solutions, it is important to understand what is happening in your installation.

Since off-grid does not have to mean offline, we have created the GlobalLink 520. This device will offer LTE-M 4G connectivity to all compatible VE.Direct devices without subscription or monthly fee for the first five years.

Global connectivity with LTE-M 4G

LTE-M stands for LTE Cat-M1 or Long Term Evolution (4G), category M1.

This mobile technology is designed to connect Internet of Things devices to existing 4G towers using very little power. LTE-M supports transfers and roaming to allow the use of a device in a moving vehicle such as a motorhome.

Check the list in our GlobalLink 520 manual to see if LTE-M availability in your region is officially confirmed. Coverage is increasing every week as it is rolled out by local access providers. As your purchase includes 5 years of connectivity, you do not have to worry about purchasing a separate data plan and SIM card.

Easy system control and monitoring

Your GlobalLink 520 is equipped with two VE.Direct ports that allow you to connect up to two VE.Direct devices such as a BMV battery monitor and/or an MPPT solar charge controller directly to VRM.

With two digital inputs that also serve as pulse counters and remotely controllable relays, it is a perfect solution for monitoring and controlling your installation.

Integrated antenna

The GlobalLink 520 has an integrated antenna designed to work worldwide. However, if you need better reception or want to install your module in a commercial vehicle, for example, you can also add an external antenna.

Victron Remote Management

The Victron Remote Management (VRM) online portal gives you access to your installation wherever you are and at any time. In VRM, you can view the status of your connected products, view detailed graphs of your energy installation, generate detailed analytical reports, and even configure alarms that will trigger if there is a problem.
