Description

The DC surge protection kit is a DC surge protection adapter kit (Type II) for inputs A and B of SMA Sunny Tripower (xxxx)TL-30 inverters.

The AC surge protection module is required to protect electrical equipment against surges. This creates an equipotential bonding that leads to the neutralization of voltage differences. Thus, all connected solar panels and inverters remain intact.

Caution, Type II only protects against indirect lightning strikes.
