Coupler for two 80A diode batteries Argo BCD-802 - Victron Energy
Description
Diode battery combiners are used to ensure continuous DC current for equipment that is critically important such as an electronic engine control system. With a diode battery combiner, two or more DC sources can be used in parallel to supply the essential load. If one of the sources fails, this will not interrupt the supply to the essential load.
Argo diode battery combiners feature a low voltage drop thanks to the use of Schottky diodes: with low current the voltage drop is about 0.3V, and at rated output about 0.45V.
