Uninterruptible AC Power (UPS Function)
In case of mains failure, or of disconnection of the shore or generator, the inverter of the Multi is automatically activated and takes over the supply to the connected loads. This transfer is so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that the functioning of computers or other electronic equipment will not be disturbed.
Proven reliability
The full bridge topology with a toroidal transformer has proven its reliability over the years. The inverter is protected against short circuits and overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature.
High starting power
Needed to start loads that have a high inrush current such as power converters for LED lamps, halogens or power tools.
Search Mode
If the Search mode is set to 'on', the power consumption of the inverter is reduced by about 70% if no load is available. With this mode, when the Multi operates in inverter mode, it is switched off in the absence of load or very low load, and then switched on every two seconds for a short period. If the load current exceeds the set level, the inverter continues to operate. Otherwise, the inverter switches off again.
Programmable relay
By default, the programmable relay is configured as an alarm relay, meaning that the relay is de-energized in case of alarm or pre-alarm (inverter almost too hot, input ripple almost too high, battery voltage almost too low).
