The wireless solution to configure, monitor and update the controller using Apple and Android phones, tablets or other devices.

Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT).
Especially in case of fluctuating cloud cover, when light intensity is constantly changing, an ultra-fast MPPT controller will improve energy yield by up to 30 % compared to PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) charge controllers and by up to 10 % compared to slower MPPT controllers.

Load output
Battery-drain can be prevented by connecting all loads to the load output. This output disconnects the load when the battery is discharged to a preset voltage. If this is not the case, a smart battery management algorithm can be chosen: see BatteryLife. The load output is protected against short circuit.

Battery Life: smart battery management
If a solar charge controller is not able to recharge the battery to its full capacity every day, this usually means that the battery will be constantly switching between the 'partly charged' state and the 'end of discharge' state. This condition (regularly incomplete charge) will damage lead-acid batteries within a few weeks or months. For any type of battery, this condition will, depending on the type of battery, reduce the battery's lifespan. The BatteryLife algorithm will monitor the use of the battery, and by cyclically pulsing the load disconnection on and off, it will ensure that a number of days a week (load disconnection is) used to fully charge the battery to almost 100 %. In order to prevent the battery from being constantly kept on the edge of a full charge, the BatteryLife algorithm will ensure that the load disconnection threshold is always adapted to the lowest point that the battery is charged to during the past 24 hours.
