Blue Smart IP22 12V 20A Battery Charger (3) - Victron Energy A 6-step charging algorithm allows customization of Absorption, Float, and Storage voltages via a Bluetooth app. The Expert mode enables adjustment of all parameters. Mode selection is done via a simple button. Its 3 independent outputs can each deliver the nominal power with a total combined current of 20A. Blue Smart Charger uses a specific 3-step charging algorithm for lithium-ion (LiFePO₄) batteries, with automatic reset of under-voltage protection
Efficient recovery of partially or fully discharged batteries
The Blue Smart IP22 can recover deeply discharged batteries by applying a low current. Once sufficient voltage is detected, the charger resumes normal charging, thus avoiding energy waste.
Storage mode for batteries that are little or not used
Storage mode, activated after 24 hours of inactivity, reduces the Float voltage to minimize gassing and corrosion. Once a week, the voltage is raised to the Absorption level to equalize the battery, preventing premature aging due to sulfation.
Intuitive visualization
LED indicators allow immediate visualization of the selected charging mode and the current step.
Ease of use and connection
This charger offers simple and quick connectivity to the battery via 16mm² screw terminals. You can even leave it plugged in permanently for convenient use.
Remote monitoring via Bluetooth
With its built-in Bluetooth connectivity, you can monitor the charger and battery remotely via your smartphone, tablet, or laptop. The VictronConnect app makes it easy to configure all parameters. The history displays information about the charger’s operation throughout its use, including detailed statistics on the last 40 cycles.
Synchronized parallel charging made easy
The synchronized parallel charging process allows up to 10 chargers to be synchronized within a VE.Smart network, acting as a single charger. This provides redundancy, flexibility, cost reduction, and easier installation.
Robustness and versatility
This charger is designed to withstand extreme conditions, with an operational temperature range from -40°C to +60°C.
