The Victron Energy Skylla-i 24/100 (3) battery charger is a modern and powerful solution designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions such as heat, humidity, and salt air. It is equipped with numerous advanced features for optimal battery charging management:

• Robust: Powder-coated epoxy aluminum casings with stainless steel fastenings resist harsh environments. Printed circuit boards are protected with a conformal coating for maximum corrosion resistance. Temperature sensors ensure that electrical components will always operate within specified limits, even in extreme environmental conditions.
• Flexible: In addition to a CAN bus (NMEA 2000) interface, a rotary switch, DIP switches and potentiometers are available to adapt the charge algorithm to a specific battery and its usage conditions.
• Synchronized parallel operation: Multiple chargers can be synchronized via the CAN bus interface by simply connecting the chargers with UTP RJ45 cables.
• Temperature compensation: Each Skylla-i is supplied with a battery temperature sensor. When connected, the charge voltage will automatically decrease with increasing battery temperature.
• Power supply: Thanks to its perfectly stabilized output, the Skylla-i can be used as a continuous power supply if no battery is available.
• Li-ion (LiFePO4) battery compatibility: A simple on/off command can be implemented by connecting a relay or an open collector optocoupler output from a Li-ion BMS to the charger's remote control port. Full voltage and current control can also be achieved by connecting to the galvanically isolated CAN port.
