The Sungrow SG8.0RT 8kW inverter is a transformerless three-phase inverter designed for residential and commercial photovoltaic installations. This high-performance device converts the direct current generated by solar panels into alternating current compatible with the electrical grid for direct use. It helps reduce your electricity bill and increase the energy independence of your home or business.
Dual MPPT for optimized production
Equipped with 2 MPPTs managing a total of 3 solar panel strings, it optimizes energy production by tracking the maximum power point of the solar panels. This technology ensures high performance even with variations in sunlight. The maximum cumulative PV input power is 12kWp.
Universal compatibility
The SG8.0RT is compatible with various types of solar panels, including ungrounded monocrystalline, polycrystalline, and thin-film modules, allowing you to adapt the inverter to many solar system configurations.
Enhanced safety and protection
This inverter integrates advanced protection devices such as Type II DC and AC surge arresters, a rapid arc-fault circuit interrupter, and a disconnect switch to cut power from the panels directly from the inverter. This provides optimal protection for your solar installation against surges and other electrical problems.
Smart management and optimized performance
The SG8.0RT offers intelligent energy management with smart IV curve scanning, 24/7 real-time monitoring, and remote firmware updates. A PID recovery function is integrated to extend the lifespan of solar panels and optimize their efficiency.
Compact design and easy installation
With a weight of only 18 kg and unique quick connectors, this inverter is easy to install. Commissioning is simplified thanks to a dedicated app, for a quick and hassle-free installation.
High efficiency
It offers high efficiency with low voltage startup and a wide MPPT voltage range. This maximizes energy production even in low sunlight conditions, ensuring optimal performance throughout the year.

Built to withstand the toughest conditions, this inverter has an IP65 protection rating and high corrosion resistance. This ensures a long lifespan and exceptional reliability, essential for photovoltaic installations.
Simplified monitoring and control
The inverter is equipped with an LED indicator on the front, showing the operating status. Additionally, a production monitoring display and an included WiNet-S dongle allow for online monitoring and easy control via Ethernet and WiFi.
