Inverters allow you to power household equipment — requiring a 230V/120VAC power source — using "leisure" or "automotive" batteries with a voltage of 12V, 24V or 48VDC.
VE.Direct communication port
The VE.Direct port can be connected to:
- A computer (VE.Direct-USB interface cable needed).
- Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, MacBooks and other devices
(a Bluetooth Smart dongle communicating with VE.Direct is needed).
Fully configurable:
- Low battery voltage alarm reset and trigger levels
- Low battery voltage recongnition and reset levels
- Dynamic Cut-off: cut-off voltage dependent on the frequency of the load
- Output voltage 210 - 245V
- Output frequency 50 Hz or 60 Hz
- ECO mode sensing and ECO mode On/Off
Monitoring:
- Input and output voltage, % load and alarms
Proven reliability
The full bridge topology with a toroidal transformer has been proven in industry for years. The inverters are protected against short circuit and overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature.
High start-up power
Needed to start up loads such as inverter loads for LED and halogen lamps or power tools.
ECO mode
In ECO mode, the inverter will switch to standby, if the load is reduced below a preset level (minimum load: 15 W). Once in standby, the inverter will switch on for a short period (adjustable; default: every 2,5 seconds). If the load exceeds the preset level, the inverter will switch on again.
Remote On/Off.
A remote On/Off switch can be connected using a two-pole connector, or between the positive pole of the battery and the left contact of the two-pole connector.
To transfer the load to another AC source: the automatic transfer switch
For our low power inverters, we recommend the use of our automatic transfer switch, the Filax. The Filax has a very short change-over time (less than 20 milliseconds) so that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate uninterrupted.
