Description
Inverter - charger Quattro-II
The Quattro-II can be connected to two independent AC sources, for example the public grid and a generator,
or two generators. The Quattro-II will automatically connect to the active source.
PowerControl and PowerAssist - Increase grid or generator capacity
A maximum grid or generator current can be set. The Quattro-II will then take into account the other AC loads and use any surplus for battery charging, thus preventing overloading of the generator or grid (PowerControl function). PowerAssist takes the PowerControl principle to another dimension. Where peak power is often only required for a limited period, the Quattro-II will compensate for insufficient generator, shore or grid power with battery power. When the load decreases, the reserve power is used to recharge the battery.
Two AC outputs
The Quattro-II supports powering connected loads in the event of a grid failure or when shore/generator power is disconnected. This happens so quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without interruption.
The second output is only energized when AC power is available at the input. Loads that should not discharge the battery, such as a water heater, for example, can be connected to this output.
Parallel and three-phase operation
Up to 6 Quatros can operate in parallel to achieve higher output power. Six 24/5000/120 units, for example, will provide.Output power of 40 kW / 50 kVA with a charging capacity of 420 amps.
On-site system configuration, monitoring and control
Settings can be changed in minutes with VEConfigure software (computer or laptop and MK3-USB interface required).
