48V 50A Battery Charger - Skylla TG- Victron Energy

The Skylla TG 48/50 (1+1) charger is designed with a full power output of 50A. The charging voltage can be precisely adjusted to suit any battery system. The charger input is 230V (185-264VAC) at 45/65HZ. This charger also accepts a DC input voltage between 180 and 400V DC

The charging voltage can be measured directly at the battery terminals to compensate for voltage loss due to cable resistance. An external sensor allows for battery temperature measurement and subsequent charging voltage compensation.

These Skylla TG chargers are perfect for any type of 48V lead-acid battery, whether sealed or unsealed, with a total capacity from 250Ah to 5000Ah. Maintenance-free batteries must be charged correctly to ensure a long service life. Overcharging will cause excessive gassing and deterioration of a sealed battery. The chargers accept both AC and DC power.

Each TG charger has a microprocessor that precisely controls the charge in three stages, faster than with other models.

These chargers can also be used as a direct power supply if batteries are not available. 

To increase battery life, each Skylla TG charger is equipped with a battery temperature sensor. The charging voltage automatically decreases with increasing battery temperature, which is especially recommended for sealed batteries.
