Description
VE.Direct communication port
The VE.Direct port can be connected to:
- A computer (VE.Direct-USB interface cable needed).
- Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, MacBooks and other devices (a Bluetooth Smart dongle communicating with VE.Direct is needed).
Fully configurable:
- Low battery voltage alarm reset and threshold
- Low battery voltage cutoff and reset
- Dynamic Cut-off: cut-off threshold varying with the frequency of the load
- Output voltage 210 - 245 V
- Output frequency 50 Hz or 60 Hz
- ECO mode on/off and ECO mode threshold
Monitoring:
- Input and output voltage, load percentage and alarms
Proven reliability
The full bridge topology with a toroidal transformer has proven its reliability over many years. The inverters are short-circuit proof and protected against overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature.
High start-up power
Needed to start-up high loads such as inverters for LED- and halogen lamps, power tools and the like.
ECO mode
In ECO mode, the inverter will switch to standby whenever the load decreases below a preset level (minimum load: 15 W). Once in standby, the inverter will switch on for a short period of time every few seconds (adjustable; default: every 2,5 seconds). If the load exceeds the preset level, the inverter will switch on again.
Remote on-off.
A remote on-off switch can be connected to a two-pole connector, or between the positive battery pole and the left contact of the two-pole connector.
Diagnostic LED's
Please check the manual for a description.
To transfer the load to other AC sources: the automatic transfer switch
For our low power inverters, we recommend the use of our automatic transfer switch, the Filax. The Filax has a very short transfer time (less than 20 milliseconds) so that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate uninterrupted.
