Description
The Skylla TG 24/50 (1+1) charger is designed with a full-power output of 50A and an additional 4Ampere output. The charging voltage can be precisely adjusted to suit any battery system. The charger input is 230V (185-264VAC) at 45/65Hz. This charger also accepts a DC input voltage between 180 and 400V DC.
The charging voltage can be measured directly at the battery terminals to compensate for voltage loss due to cable resistance. An external sensor allows for measuring the battery temperature and adjusting the charging voltage accordingly.
These Skylla TG chargers are perfect for all types of 24V lead batteries, whether sealed or not, with a total capacity from 150Ah to 500Ah. Maintenance-free batteries must be properly charged to ensure a long lifespan. Overvoltage would cause excessive gassing and deterioration of a sealed battery. The chargers accept both AC and DC power supplies.
Each TG charger is equipped with a microprocessor that precisely controls the three-stage charging process, faster than other models.
These chargers can also be used as direct power supplies if batteries are not available. The Skylla TG 24V models have two isolated outputs, with the second output limited to about 4A for starting battery recharge.
