2000VA 24V 50A MultiPlus C charger-inverter - Victron Energy
Description
Two outputs CA The main output has an uninterruptible power supply function. In case of grid failure or disconnection of the dock power or generator, the MultiPlus takes over the power supply to the connected loads. This transfer is so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that the operation of computers or other sensitive electronic equipment connected will not be disturbed. The second output is only powered when AC is available on one of the MultiPlus inputs. Loads that would not discharge the battery, such as a water heater for example, can be connected to this output (second output available on models of 3 kVA and above).
Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation Up to 6 Multi units can operate in parallel to obtain more output power. For example, six 24/5000/120 units will provide an output power of 25 kW / 30 kVA and a charging capacity of 720 A.
Three-phase configuration In addition to parallel connection, three units of the same model can be configured for a three-phase output. But that’s not all: up to 6 series of 3 units can be connected in parallel to provide a power of 75 kW / 90 kVA and more than 2000 A of charge capacity.
PowerControl – Adapting to generator, dock, or grid limits The MultiPlus features a very powerful battery charger that demands high currents at dock or generator connections (nearly 10 A at 230 V AC per 5 kVA Multi). The Multi Control panel allows limiting the power supplied by the dock or generator. The MultiPlus then considers the power demand of other AC loads on output and only uses the excess for charging, thus avoiding overload of the dock or generator power supply.
PowerAssist – More power supplied by the dock or generator This function adds an extra dimension to the PowerControl principle by allowing the MultiPlus to supplement the capacity of the alternative source. If a high peak power demand is required for a short duration, the MultiPlus ensures that the lack of power from the grid or generator is immediately compensated by energy from the battery. And when the demand decreases, the excess power will be used to recharge the batteries.
Solar energy. AC energy available even in case of grid failure. The MultiPlus can be used both off-grid and connected to a PV network or other alternative energy systems. A grid loss detection software is available.
System configuration - For standalone applications, parameters can be modified in minutes using the DIP switch configuration procedure. - Parallel or three-phase applications can be configured with VE.Bus Quick Configure and VE.Bus System Configurator software. - Self-consumption, interactive grid, and off-grid applications involving grid-connected inverters and/or MPPT solar chargers can be configured with assistants (specific software for specific applications).
On-site monitoring and control Several options are available: battery controller, MultiControl panel, VE.Net Blue Power control panel, Color Control panel, Smartphone or tablet (Bluetooth Smart), desktop or laptop computer (USB or RS232).
Remote monitoring and control Victron Ethernet Remote, Venus GX, and the Color Control panel. Data can be stored and displayed on our free VRM (Victron Remote Management) website.
Remote configuration If systems with a Color Control panel are connected via Ethernet, it is possible to access and modify their configuration.
