MPPT: ultra-fast maximum power point tracking

By constantly monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar (PV) panels, MPPT technology ensures that every available watt of energy from your panels is recovered and stored. The benefit of this technology is particularly noticeable in a sky that is partly overcast, where light intensity is constantly changing.

Remote monitoring and control

Remotely manage your BlueSolar MPPT charger by connecting a Bluetooth Smart dongle (optional) and pairing it with your smartphone via VictronConnect. For global access, the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM) is accessible via the internet, offering complete monitoring for free. Even for remote installations without internet access, Bluetooth monitoring is possible using LoRaWAN technology (optional) on a compatible device. Stay connected to your MPPT wherever you are.

Load output

The BlueSolar's intelligent load output function prevents damage from deep discharge by adjusting the disconnection voltage. BlueSolar aims for a daily recharge of 100%. In case of adverse weather, it gradually increases the disconnection voltage until full recharge is achieved. BatteryLife keeps the battery in good condition, thus extending its lifespan.

BATTERYLIFE: intelligent battery management

If a full recharge is not possible in one day, batteries can suffer damaging cycles between a partially charged state and deep discharge. This irregular process damages lead-acid batteries within weeks. The BatteryLife algorithm monitors the state of charge, gradually adjusting the load disconnection daily. It ensures a full recharge as soon as recovered solar energy allows, thus preserving the battery. Once the disconnection level is reached, it is modulated to ensure at least a near 100% recharge per week.
