The Victron Centaur 12V 80A (3) Charger from Victron Energy is a robust, economical, and high-performance device, perfect for various applications such as recreational vehicles, campervans, boats, and workshop vehicles. It features 3 outputs for different battery banks and can efficiently charge 320 to 800Ah lead-acid batteries.

Resistant to harsh environments

The epoxy-coated aluminum casing and stainless steel screws resist the rigors of harsh environments such as heat, humidity, and salt spray. The electronic circuits are protected against corrosion by an acrylic coating.

Optimal operation

An internal temperature sensor ensures that all components operate within specified limits. If necessary, automatic output power reduction is performed under extreme environmental conditions.

Universal input

Centaur chargers offer a wide input voltage range of 90 to 265 VAC and 45 to 65 Hertz, with no adjustment needed. They are compatible with all common voltages and frequencies, making them suitable for extended travel. You can use them with a 110V or 230V shore power connection without difficulty, making them a reliable travel companion worldwide.

3 full-power outputs

The 3 isolated full-power outputs allow simultaneous charging of 3 battery sets. Each output can deliver the rated charging power with a total of 80A.

3-stage charging

The Centaur charges at full power until the output current reaches 70% of the rated power, then switches to absorption and float modes. An internal temperature probe compensates for the charging voltage.

Easy voltage selection and charge current display

An internal switch allows easy selection of voltages suitable for the main battery types (Lead-Acid, Gel, AGM). A front panel ammeter shows the charger's output to the batteries at all times.
