Ultra-fast maximum power point tracking (MPPT).
Especially in cloudy conditions, when light intensity is constantly changing, an ultra-fast MPPT controller will improve energy harvest by up to 30% compared to PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) charge controllers and by up to 20% compared to faster MPPT controllers.
Advanced maximum power point detection in shaded conditions
A shaded condition may cause one or more current valleys on the power-voltage curve. Traditionally, MPPT trackers are locked onto an unstable power point that may not be the optimum power point. The groundbreaking algorithm of the SmartSolar will always maximize energy harvest by locking onto the optimum power point.

Flexible charge algorithm
Fully programmable charge algorithm (see Software section on our website) and eight pre-programmed algorithms that can be selected with a rotary switch (see manual for details).
Extensive electronic protection

Internal temperature sensor
It compensates the absorption and float charge voltage depending on the temperature.

Optional: pluggable LCD screen
Simply remove the rubber seal that protects the plug on the front of the controller and plug in the screen to display status and allow parameter changes.
