Description

Ultra-fast localization of the maximum power point (MPPT - Maximum Power Point Tracking). 
Especially in cloudy skies, when light intensity constantly changes, an ultra-fast MPPT controller will improve energy collection by up to 30% compared to PWM (pulse width modulation) charge controllers, and up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers.

Advanced detection of the maximum power point in shaded conditions 
In shaded conditions, two or more maximum power points may be present on the voltage-power curve. 
Conventional MPPTs tend to get stuck on a local MPP that may not be the optimal MPP. 
The innovative SmartSolar algorithm will always maximize energy recovery by locking onto the optimal MPP.

Exceptional conversion efficiency No fan. Maximum efficiency exceeding 98%.

Flexible charging algorithm 
Fully programmable charging algorithm (see the Software section on our website) and eight pre-programmed algorithms that can be selected with a rotary switch (see the manual for more details).

Extended electronic protection

• Overheating protection and power reduction in case of high temperature.
• Protection against PV reverse polarity and PV short circuits.
• Protection against PV current inversion.

Internal temperature sensor 
It compensates float and absorption charge voltages based on temperature.

Built-in Bluetooth Smart: no need for an electronic key 
The wireless solution to configure, monitor, and update the controller using Apple and Android phones, tablets, or other devices.

VE.Direct 
For wired data connection to a Color Control panel, Venus GX, a PC, or other devices.

Remote on/off For example, to connect to a VE.BUS BMS.

Programmable relay 
Can be programmed (among other things with a Smartphone) to trigger an alarm or other events.

Optional : plug-in LCD screen Remove the rubber gasket protecting the connector on the front of the controller, and insert the screen.
