Description
The Smart BatteryProtect disconnects a load from the battery in case of undervoltage and from the supply in case of overvoltage.
The Smart BatteryProtect is a bidirectional unit. It can be used to both disconnect loads from the battery and to reconnect loads when power is available. The Smart BatteryProtect can also be used to disconnect a charger from the battery when the supply voltage is too low.
The Smart BatteryProtect can be programmed with any desired cut-off and re-connect voltage, or use one of the nine pre-set values.
Bluetooth can be switched off.
The Smart BatteryProtect is a unidirectional device. It can only handle current in one direction: either current to a load, or current from the charger, but not both at the same time. Furthermore, current can only flow from the IN terminal to the OUT terminal. When used with a load, the battery connects to the IN terminal. When used with a charger, the charger connects to the IN terminal.
